If you are seeking services for your child, you can now access Clifford Beers Clinic services at our 93 Edwards Street location without an appointment.  If you are not familiar with our services, click here to learn more.  For that information in Spanish, please click here.

Many families have insurance questions.  What is covered?  What is not?  What insurance is accepted at Clifford Beers Clinic?  We understand it can be confusing!  You can always call us at 203 772-1270 (press “3”) to talk with us about insurance; you can also visit our insurance information page by clicking here — it contains links to many insurance company websites where you may be able to find more answers! 

The Clinic does close to observe certain holidays, and on those days no Open Access hours are available.  To see those dates,  please click here.

The regular days and times for Open Access are below.  Note: It is recommended that you call before coming to the Clinic if wait time is a concern for you.  

  • Mondays 9:30AM to 12:30PM — NEW! We can assist Spanish-speaking families during these hours!
  • Tuesdays 8:30AM to 11:30AM — NEW! We can assist Spanish-speaking families during these hours!
  • Thursdays 8:30AM to 11:30AM
  • Fridays 12:30PM to 3:30PM  — NEW! We can assist Spanish-speaking families during these hours!

SPECIAL NOTE: Clifford Beers does provide care and services in Spanish, but space is limited.  If we are at capacity when we meet you, we will make the appropriate referrals.  For more information, please call us at 203 772-1270.   

During this initial walk-in appointment, please bring:

  • parent/legal guardian of child
  • child in need of services
  • insurance card
  • Social Security card (if available)

Please plan to be with us for approximately 90 minutes to two hours.  Note: we offer case management and family advocacy during these days and times.
