Community Gun Violence: 2-1-1 Crisis Services Available 24/7
Our community requires healing.
Tragic events such as community gun violence become all too familiar for those who live in urban communities. Exposure to gun violence has an impact on children, teens, and adults psychological and mental well-being.
When neighborhoods are not safe from gun violence, entire generations are affected. We must care collectively about our children, families, and communities -- reach out to neighbors to ensure that we are healing together through difficult times.
If you or someone you know has been exposed to gun violence, there are resources that can help.
For a non-life threatening crisis, calling 2-1-1 means a clinician will be sent to you to help you, your child, or your family.
2-1-1 crisis services are available 24/7 days a week and can be very helpful to children, adolescents, and their families.
